I recently had the pleasure of attending a lovely Oscar de la Renta fashion show and luncheon with the Mannequins, which was held at the always fabulous Beverly Wilshire Hotel. It was an enchanting Tuesday afternoon, and the amazing Mannequins of the Assistance League Los Angeles gathered together to support their sister league "The Colleagues."
This gorgeous event and Oscar de la Renta fashion show is one of my favorite events to attend every year, and every year the special guests are even more special. This year, we were honored with the presence of her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco. She is involved in so many great charities that are tied to children's welfare and the Special Olympics, and hearing her speak was fantastic. She is truly a lovely and legendary young woman!
Reese Witherspoon gave the special award to Princess Charlene, and my favorite hottie Angie Harmon (I took a selfie with her!) was the host and MC of the event. The highlight of the day, of course, was the spectacular Oscar de la Renta show, which showcased breathtaking gowns, suits, and stunning dresses that sashayed down the runway.
I loved the show, loved the event, love my Mannequins! It was also really fun catching up with Ana Garcia and Dani Lancer (the wife of the legendary Dr. Lancer).
