I recently had the honor and privilege to be a part of The Good News Girls Foundation's Charity Luncheon, such a wonderful event! Showing my support for this group of amazing women was such a joy.
The luncheon was a glam red affair - red carpet, red lipstick, red dresses - and all of the incredible news teams in the LA area participated in this special day, including the fabulous Wendy Burch, Ana Garcia, Dorothy Lucey, Christine Divine, and Pat Harvey who are all the Glam Squad Board Members. It's so special since they give away thousands of dollars to wonderful causes that support the education of inner city youth and provide shelter for abused women.
I have been involved in this meaningful, motivational organization for years, and have contributed and collaborated with great enthusiasm. I sincerely applaud these ladies for their tireless work, and this year was especially incredible as none other than Maria Shriver was being honored! What an amazing day.
Single Dress participated in the event's silent auction, and I was very excited that our Envelope Dress (which Katie Couric is a big fan of) received lots of bids and ended up selling for almost $400!
I of course wore Single Dress, one of our newest styles, the lace detailed Tichina Dress. I dressed it up with an Alaia belt, a pair of hot Alexander McQueen Swarovski encrusted shoes and my Nancy Gonzales red croco clutch. It's all about feeling empowered and empowering other women "one dress at a time"!
Single was also involved in a gifting suite, where many of the news teams learned about our dresses. The beautiful Ana Garcia was even wearing a similar style to this one at the event. Enjoy the photos!
