This is something that is very dear to my heart, especially taking into consideration the recent tragic events in Connecticut. For the last 10 years, Single Dress has donated silent auction items to help raise funds for CASA, and I personally have been an avid supporter of the organization for Children Foster Advocacy. It is quite an honor to be mentioned in this OC Register article... see below:
The excerpt reads:
"The sounds of a string trio surrounded the formal, fashionably dressed crowd as they circled the displays, with dresses by Galina Sobolev, Armani handbags and wine. While the guests made their bids - with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to CASA - celebrity chef Brian Malarkey entertained guests with a cooking demo on how to make carb-free crab cakes."
The CASA for Children Advocacy of Orange County provides protection and a voice for foster children. It is an extreme honor and privilege to be involved with this organization.
