The Single Holiday Party

Now that the holidays are over and we have entered into a new decade - hello, 2010! - I am able to reflect on what a joyous and festive holiday season it was this year.

To me, nothing beats an unforgettable evening with close family and friends, and this is exactly what I had in mind for the Single Holiday Party. On December 18, I gathered my fantastic Single team together for a lively celebration at a fun Russian restaurant in Hollywood called Maxim. Well known for their delicious Russian dishes and fabulous, club-like atmosphere, the minute you step inside the door at Maxim it's almost as though you've been transported out of Los Angeles and straight into Europe. 

It was such a joyful evening to entertain and spend quality time with the design, marketing and production teams outside of work! Meeting their significant others, saying "cheers!" and making toasts, and dancing the night away was fun indeed. I especially loved the Russian delicacies prepared by the chef, and think that my favorite dish was the crepes with caviar - YUM! 

After a while, we decided to move the party to the dance floor, and give in to the music, ranging from House to Europop, 80's, Disco, Modern Latin and Pop tunes from the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and Bob Sinclair. 

The night was a smashing success - my feet were definitely sore when I got home, which can only mean I was the Dancing Queen of the soiree! I hope the team enjoyed it as much as I did, as my husband Michael and I wanted everyone to have fun and get into the spirit of the season. I am so thankful to be surrounded by such talented and warm individuals, and I hope everyone had as great of a holiday season this year as I did!
