Event Report: Angeleno and SK-II Event Celebrating Elizabeth An

Hi dears,

Imagine my delight to receive a lovely invite from Elizabeth An for a special event being held at Crustacean Beverly Hills, celebrating her as a Woman of Style and Substance from Angeleno Magazine and SK-II skincare and cosmetics brand. She mentioned that she was asked to invite her beautiful friends who she felt also represented Women of Style and Substance. Such an honor!

It was a day of celebration and beauty, accompanied by a side of Mama An's amazingly spicy garlic noodles (one of Crustacean's signature dishes). I can attest to the fact that Elizabeth is truly a superwoman, the epitome of style and grace and the perfect woman to host this elegant event. We had the best time, and were even treated to an "age of our skin" evaluation by SK-II's team of professional cosmetologists. I was thrilled to find out that my skin was evaluated at 10 years younger than my actual age. Wow, I fooled those scientific machines once again. Ha!

The lunch itself, which Elizabeth so lovingly put together, was beyond delectable. We sipped special Bellini cocktails and feasted on the delicious food which was created by Mama An and her skilled team of chefs. It was also great to visit with some ladies from Orange County whom I have not seen in a while. Note to self: pay a visit to Elizabeth's restaurant in Orange County, AnQi at South Coast Plaza!

After the skin evaluation, we received fantastic gift bags packed with creams and serums, tailored for our particular skin needs. What a treat! I am such a fan of SK-II products and this was such a lovely surprise. Our incredible dessert and afternoon tea was served upstairs, overlooking the magnificent orchids that were the beautiful centerpiece of the restaurant. To all of my friends, you must visit Crustancean and taste their fabulous menu - the roasted crab and garlic noodles are unparalleled!

I want to thank my beautiful friend Elizabeth An, for this incredible and unforgettable experience! She is the most accomplished and gracious Woman of Style and Substance in my book. To Angeleno and SK-II, thank you for my radiant and glowing skin!
