It was yet another beyond fabulous night in Hollywood, where I joined some fantastic and talented tastemakers for the opening of Le Salon at the Sofitel hotel in Hollywood. The salon is located in the lobby of the hotel, and has a beautiful garden in the back. Modern and well-lit, I just loved the wonderful ambiance of the salon!
I was so pleased to run into incredible filmmaker Amanda Eliasch, whose most recent documentary film The Gun, The Cake and The Butterfly (which she wrote and directed) was so powerful. Amanda is so phenomenally talented, and has worn Single structured dresses to many film premiers. It was brilliant running into her!
We also ran into George Blodwell, celebrity stylist and editor at one of LA's coolest regional magazines, Genlux. George was also a part of the wardrobe team of Amanda's documentary! One of my favorite Single Dress memories was when George dressed Nicollette Sheridan when she starred on "Desperate Housewives."
Overall, it was an incredibly fun night, and so much fun running into these two fab friends!
Good luck to Le Salon!
Xo, G
