I recently enjoyed a delightful kick off to the polo season with a match as the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, which benefited the Learning Center for Children. I invited my lovely cousin Liza to join me, and many of our fabulous "Mannequins" came out to support!
It was a very warm and sunny day in Santa Barbara, with gentle ocean breezes coming in off of the coast. The game itself was quite thrilling, and even quite intense! Our fantastic team Lucchese won in the end, which made the day that much more enjoyable! It was so exciting to watch the game and witness the strength of the galloping horses. Horses are such beautiful and strong animals, and being in their presence is such a thrill. I loved that the crowd roared with every hit of the polo stick!
For the day's festivities, I wore a Single Dress summer wrap dress in silk chiffon with a small floral print, along with a Louise Green hat, David Yurman ring, Perrin Paris by Sally Perrin sunglasses, and a cuff and shoes by Hermes.
What a memorable and exciting day - it was so wonderful to support such a wonderful charity and a great cause.
Enjoy the photos!
