Event Report: Fashion Group International's Scholarship Luncheon

Hello everyone,

I'm so excited to share with you an event that I was so honored to be a part of recently, Fashion Group International's Scholarship Award Luncheon. The prestigious organization asked me to be the Honorary Speaker at this inspirational gathering, and it was such a wonderful opportunity to speak directly to the graduating fashion students from Otis, Parsons, FIDM and other great fashion design colleges.

The group of students who attended the luncheon were the chosen scholarship award winners, the best of the best. These talented young designers are the future of fashion! I was asked to speak to them about the "road ahead," what really awaits them in the real world. It was such a privilege to be asked by the only Fairy Godmother of Fashion, our own Ilse Metchek. Ilse is the President of the California Fashion Association, not to mention my personal mentor and one of the most highly regarded women in LA's fashion industry today. I want to personally thank Ilse for including me in this wonderful event!

All in all, it was such an honor and one that I won't soon forget!
