Another cold December evening, another majestic event! On Thursday evening, December 12, my dear friend Aliona Kononova had a majestic event presenting her Moe Collection of handbags, accessories, and dandelion limited edition brooches in a pop-up installation at an art and design gallery known as The C Project in The Art District of Los Angeles.
It was a great night, and a slew of glamorous fashion devotees - along with the who's who of the MOCA community and an elite Russian crowd - came out to support Aliona. I put on my favorite vintage orange "Bowler" hat and dashed off to the gallery, and couldn't wait to see what fabulous accessories Aliona had in store! Her awesome handbags (which are a personal favorite of mine) are just divine... if anyone is interested in purchasing for themselves, just leave me a comment below! I can take pre-orders now... the delivery is 6 weeks for leather and 8-11 weeks for exotic skins such as crocodile.
There was a cool fashion show as well, and the fab/fun dandelion pins are quite striking! The fashion installation and presentation was just breathtaking, and I could tell that the art crowd was thrilled to be a part of the stylish evening. Lyn Winter, the PR director for MOCA, personally curated and organized the event, and her chic touch really added an elegant ambiance to the evening. I just love my Moe Bags... they go perfect with all of my Single Dresses :-)
Overall, it was an immensely enjoyable night filled with fashion, art and culture. What a smashing evening! 'Til the next thrilling evening, my friends... enjoy the photos below.
Xo, G
