I have another spectacular event to share with you! It was such an incredible, artistic undertaking that both Fendi and the iconic Maxfield boutique in LA invited us to explore. Celebrating "Baguettemania," Fendi's recent event was one for the books. I was simply breathless from the first moment that I stepped into the front garden on Melrose.
First of all, I love Maxfield. It is one of the MUST go-to shopping destinations in LA..... there's simply no other store like it in the world. The Fendi event was a step back in time and a fantastic re-introduction of the Baguette, the "it bag" made famous in the 90's on TV shows such as "Sex and the City." Such a chic and innovative bag! Everyone who is anyone involved in LA's fashion and art scene was there, and I had the great pleasure of chatting with the always fabulous Lady Victoria Hervey (who had just returned from London) and Mr. Michael Chow (the owner of the famous Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills and husband of the late Tina Chow, a fashion icon who was my Style Goddess in the 1980's). I also was excited to meet Jeffrey Deitch, the Director/Chief Curator of LACMA/MOCA - he is an icon himself!
The champagne was flowing, and just as I was about to call it a night, I ran into my dear friend Julia Verdin and the beautiful young actress Christa B. Allen, who stars as Charlotte Grayson on ABC's "Revenge"... one of my favorite shows! What a night to remember.... enjoy all of the photos!
