Single and the 2011 American Red Cross Tiffany Circle Summit

Hello my dears,

I hope everyone is having a lovely day! Today, I wanted to highlight the amazing organization The American Red Cross. I love to support this important cause, partially because of my family history. The Red Cross has played such an incredible part in my family's life that I am truly honored and privileged to give back in any way that I can. It is because of the Red Cross that Michael was able to locate his biological father, who now resides in Germany, after 25 years of searching yet never giving up hope. Also, with the help of the Red Cross, my maternal grandmother was able to find her brother and sister, who both lived in Cleveland after WWII, after searching for them for many years. After she lost her husband and her mother during the War, and was left a widow in war-torn Russia with two small children (my mom who was an infant at the time and my aunt who was 3 years old) and without a home, she finally reconnected with them in 1962! It must have been fate that my beloved Christine Chiu introduced me to the wonderful Red Cross team this year.

Taking my love of the organization to the next level, Single Dress was chosen to participate in The 2011 American Red Cross Tiffany Circle Summit that took place in Washington DC a few weekends ago. We donated 50% of all the proceeds from the dresses sold at the Summit to the Red Cross! This was a boutique presentation format (see photo below) for the ladies of the Tiffany Circle. These are the powerful women who annually donate their time to the Red Cross! :-)


The fact that Single was chosen to be a part of this amazing event was such an honor. The Co-Chairs of this event were thrilled to have us be a part of this :-)


I am both proud and honored that our dresses sold so fast at the event!

"Dear Galina,

Your red dresses were the highlight of our 1st Annual Red Cross Summit Boutique!  They added elegance and style to our boutique and the co-chair of this year's Summit wore the "Becky" as she presented to our 300 guests at our Opening Dinner.  One of my dear friends, a member of the LA Tiffany Circle, bought the Becky and Megan!!!  All the styles looked well on her and she had a hard time deciding which ones to buy.   We had so much fun and I am so grateful that Christine introduced us and that you were willing to participate with such short notice.  Thank you so much!

In 2 days, we sold 9 dresses out of 17!!!
