Spotlight On: The Victoria B Dress

I thought it would be fun to shine a spotlight on one of Single's best selling dresses that also happens to be one of my favorites, the Victoria B Dress!

To all of the fans of this dress, I want to give a little insight as to how this dress came to be. Over the years, we've had the Eva Dress (as worn by, and later named after, Eva Longoria) which sold by the thousands in many lace versions. Of course, there was the famous Rachel Dress (the original version was worn by supermodel Rachel Hunter - the ex Mrs. Rod Stewart - as she sat front row at a Single fashion show) which put Single on the map.

Now, we have another very hot seller, the highlight of today's blog, the Victoria B Dress!

I met the lovely, graceful, and oh-so-stylish Victoria Beckham at a breakfast at Neiman Marcus where she was presenting her latest collection, and she complimented my Single dress. So sweet!

I was inspired, and created a dress in black just for her, and sent it off to Mrs. Beckham. In return, Victoria sent me a lovely hand written thank you note in the mail - manners are always so chic. 

Victoria inspired me to create this garment, as her classic style and her elegance really reminded me of the glamorous days long gone. The days of etiquette and white gloves, hand written notes, and afternoon tea at the Ritz in Paris. Swoon. Victoria herself is tiny, but she carries herself like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. I had the pleasure of chatting with her for a bit and even discussed her incredible gold foil nail color - so fab! 

Upon my return to Single's factory after this enchanting breakfast, I decided it was time for our Single ladies to own a bit of VB-inspired class, and thus - the Victoria B Dress was born! :) 

Now having sold over 1,000 pieces in just this most recent month (in various fabrics and colors), the dress has been spotted on actresses such as Tichina Arnold - and I have definitely given it some major wear as well! I can honestly say that this dress will carry Single's customers through fall and spring. Ideal for luncheons, cocktail parties, baby showers and other fabulous events, I hope that the minute women slip into the Victoria B Dress they feel confident, sexy, and powerful!
