I recently attended the lovely Eco-Luxury Green Lounge event hosted by Lexus Santa Monica, and simply had to share my glamorously green time with you!
Walking the green carpet (so cute, love that it was green) was really fun, and I wore a Single dress that I recycled and redesigned (I made it sleeveless!) specifically with this event in mind. I am very passionate about being kind to the environment, and am an avid believer in recycling, reusing and regifting. For the rest of my event ensemble, I shopped my closet for my "almost vintage" 8 year old Chloe boho embroidered bag and my 5 year old (but always one of my favorites) Thomas Wylde hammered leather jacket.
Accessory wise, I headed into my closet yet again to shop for pieces that I've loved and worn time and time again. My all-time favorite is a staple that I never part with, my signature Hermes belt. Around my neck, I wore an absolutely divine sterling silver necklace that was a gift from the team at Christofle for our ongoing collaborations. How fab! This gorgeous necklace transitions flawlessly from day to night - I love that it's so versatile. A major shout-out to Christofle - their amazing new silver jewelry collection is oh-so-stylish and modern, and is a must for any stylish gal's wardrobe.
The "green" event was so much fun... a lively DJ played great music, deliciously healthy drinks and food were served, and best of all, I tasted a few out-of-this-world wines from an eco-friendly winery in Napa! So cool!
I also had the distinct pleasure of catching up with two of my favorite people, Ted Steffan and Liza Glazer from the Golden Heart Spiritual Center, which I am a strong supporter of. Liza looked gorgeous in her Single "Victoria B" dress, and we had a ball taking photos on the green carpet. I also enjoyed mingling with Christine Chiu, who is the wife of prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Gabriel Chiu, and Diedre Hall, one of my all-time favorite actresses on the daytime soap "The Young and the Restless." It turns out that Diedre is now a huge fan of Single - yay!
Overall it was a wonderful evening for a great cause, and I think that my most memorable moment of the night was being interviewed on the green carpet. A major, Mother Earth-approved good time :)
