I recently had the honor of attending my good friend Adrienne Janic's baby shower with my daughter Sara, which was held at the really fun and festive restaurant Mexico in the heart of West Hollywood. I can say, from the bottom of my heart, that Adrienne is one of the most beautiful women I know, both inside and out. She's been a huge fan of my Single line (www.singledress.com) for years, and was the face of Single for the Resort/Spring 2009 campaign. As well, Adrienne graced the cover of the Single lookbook wearing a Voile tunic in one of our original prints that we called "Istanbul" - this tunic ended up selling over 500 pieces, which I partially contribute to Adrienne's ravishing beauty. It was also really nice to see another Single fan and friend, actress Eva La Rue from "CSI: Miami."
The baby shower was a complete and total ball. I especially loved the photo booth that was set up in the restaurant... my daughter Sara and I had a blast doing silly poses while wearing sombreros! Ole!
Adrienne wore a Single dress (for a similar dress to the one that Adrienne is wearing, click here!) to the shower, and she looked simply dazzling. She definitely had that maternal glow about her! I wished her an easy and speedy labor, and told her that I've gone through the miracle of giving birth three times now and that it's truly a blessed moment. I loved being able to pass down to her some words of wisdom, from one mother to another mother-to-be!

Overall, the shower was a smashing good time, tons of fun and full of good cheer. A merry and memorable afternoon. 'Til next time!
