The 2009 Emmys Eco Celebrity Green Gifting and Wellness Chateau

I was thrilled to participate in the 2009 Emmys Eco Celebrity Green Gifting and Wellness Chateau this year, held at a gorgeous private estate in Los Angeles. This special day was more than your typical gifting lounge offering celebs armfuls of swag - this was a suite for a cause, as the day benefited charities such as SPCA, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and GreenWish. As much as I was enjoying basking in the sun and sharing the Single line with some of LA's most fabulous and stylish citizens, running into my dear friend (and fellow designer!) Nick Verreos was such a special treat.

Nick and I met a while back at a private event, and ran into one another again at a Genlux Magazine soiree. Almost immediately, we became friends (and fans of one another!). It also turned out that we had a few friends in common - fellow "Project Runway" contestant Santino Rice worked as an assistant designer at Single for over 2 years. Such a small world! I absolutely adore Nick, he has such an energetic spirit and a zest for life, and has always been such a true supporter of Single. He is my comrade in all things fashion!
