Tatiana Kornienko Loves Single!

Hi dears,

I was so thrilled when the fabulous new boutique called "Portfolio" opened in Moscow, and Tatiana Kornienko (the stunningly gorgeous owner of the boutique) wore a Single top to the glamorous store opening!

Turning heads in Single's Beaded Cleopatra Top, Tatiana captivated in the coral shade of this top. As most of the attendees wore black, Miss Tatiana stood out in her vibrant outfit. 

I absolutely love it when women take risks when it comes to fashion, wearing bright colors with zest and passion! I was also really excited to see a handful of high-profile Russian society women in attendance - even the famous Russian singer Alsou (I'm a huge fan!). 

I love Alsou's song "Before You Love Me"!

Overall, the event looked like a smashing success, and I couldn't  be happier for Tatiana. I just wish I could have been there! I wish the "Portfolio" boutique the best of luck, and all of us at Single are very excited for you, T!

Julia Ormond Loves Single!

The highlight of my day came when my colleague Kimberly, who handles all of Single's VIP celebrity relations, passed along a thank you note from beautiful actress Julia Ormond, who is best known for her roles in the films "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Sabrina," and "Legends of the Fall."

The fact that Julia took the time to let us know how appreciative she was for her Single dresses is just fabulous!

Girls Of All Ages Love Single - Fivel Stewart

One of my favorite things about designing the Single line is creating dresses that are oh so versatile!

It's incredible to see women of all ages, from teenagers to ageless and fearless females, looking absolutely smashing in their Single dresses.

Up and coming actress Fivel Stewart has recently become a huge fan of the Single brand - she's worn Single to numerous red carpet events.

Look how adorable she looked in her floral lace Single dress at the premiere of "Planet 51"!

She's posing here with her brother Booboo (don't you just love that name!) who stars as Seth Clearwater in the hotly anticipating upcoming film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Fivel wore this stunning strapless mint green Single dress to the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Fivel wore a similar version to this dress in black to the opening of 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' musical.

Fivel wore Single's Stitched Bra Dress to the opening night of "CATS" at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood - I think this might be my favorite Single look on her!

Spotted: Romi Dames Rockin' Single!

One of my favorite Young Hollywood stars, Romi Dames, was spotted wearing Single to two recent red carpet events, and she looked totally smashing at both!

First, Romi wore Single's Cleopatra Dress in Aqua to Ernest Borgnine's Pre-Oscar Party benefiting the Believe in Dreams Foundation at the Phantom Stage in Universal Studios.

One of the reasons I absolutely love Single is that no matter what the event, Single has me covered (literally). Whether it's a poolside gift suite at a swanky hotel or a red carpet for an awards ceremony, I know I can count on Single for that perfect eye catching ensemble. I recently went to the opening night of CATS at the Pantages Theater where the red carpet theme was "feline". I immediately called my fabulous stylist, Mike Sam, and met him down at the Single warehouse where he had pulled some adorably kitten-esque pieces. I fell in love with the bejeweled black tank and blue leopard print skirt. I couldn't be happier with the photos, and received numerous compliments throughout the evening. Thank you, Single, for another hit!

My Birthday Celebration

As you know, I love a celebration!

This year, I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday with some of my closest girlfriends at a "girls only Sunday luncheon" at the Luxe Hotel in Brentwood.

The Friday night before, I celebrated with my hubby and children at one of my favorite restaurants, Boa in West Hollywood... and look what they brought me as a surprise for dessert!

One word: YUM! So decadent and delicious :) 


After a wonderful dinner and evening with my family, I invited my girlfriends to join me for a luncheon at the Luxe hotel that Sunday. We closed off the patio, and although the party started at noon... it was so much fun that many of my girls stayed until 6pm! My wonderful husband Michael sent us two cases of champagne, and there were delicious delicacies for us all to feast upon. From a griddle station where my best gal pals could create their own custom omelets to a seafood station with fresh oysters and shrimp, it was definitely an indulgent day. Being surrounded by so many of my loved ones all toasting to my happiness was such a treat!

My guests lavished me with such incredible gifts... from gift certificates to Neiman Marcus, Burke Williams, and Hermes to the most beautiful orchids, I was in heaven! 



As the day progressed, the party of 40 people dwindled down to 14, and we all hung out on our private patio, laughing and enjoying each others company. As the late afternoon approached, we decided to order mini burgers and other small bites, and stayed until we finished the last bottle of champagne. So fun!

I am so lucky and grateful to have such amazing girlfriends!

International Press Invasion!

There's no doubt that Single is the go-to brand for glamorous clothing all around the world. It's so refreshing to read about Single's international status... I love that women everywhere are smitten with my designs!

Gala Magazine is a German publication that featured Tanja in her Single blouse.

Europa Magazine is a Russian publication that featured a profile on me and highlighted Single! So cool :)

Andrea Kaiser is a German TV host of the talk show "TV Total" - which is kind of like David Letterman - and wore Single's One Shoulder Leopard Blouse. This one is definitely popular!

Single was also featured in German wedding magazine Hochzeitsplaner, and the piece roughly translates to say: "If you are not planning on a big wedding with a long dress but still want to marry in white, you can choose from a wide selection of dresses." Amazing!

Finally, Single's Hipster Tunic Dress was featured in Germany's Bunte Magazine, with the title "wunderbar" which means "wonderful"!

Single VS. Engaged VS. Married

Hi dears,

When I heard this joke I thought it was perfect to share with you on my blog. It really embodies so much of that Single spirit, and is so hilarious!

Check this out, and pass along to all of your girlfriends, whether they are single, engaged, or married :)

 Sipping her drink, the single girl leered and said, "Last Friday at the end of the work day I went to my boyfriend's office wearing a leather coat.  When all the other people had left, I slipped out of it and all I had on was a leather bodice, black stockings and stiletto heels.  He was so aroused that we made passionate love on his desk right then and there!"

 

The engaged woman giggled and said, "That's pretty much my story!  When my fiancé got home last Friday, he found me waiting for him in a black mask, leather bodice, black hose and stiletto pumps.  He was so turned on that we not only had sex all night, he wants to move up our wedding date!" 

 

The married woman put her glass down and said, "I did a lot of planning.  I made arrangements for the kids to stay over at Grandma's.  I took a long scented-oil bath and then put on my best perfume.  I slipped into a tight leather bodice, a black garter belt, black stockings and six-inch stilettos.

I finished it off with a black mask. When my husband got home from work, he grabbed a beer and the remote, sat down and yelled.........

Spotted: Carrie Underwood in Single

Hi everyone!

Celebrities can't get enough of Single, and I was really excited when I saw gorgeous singer (and now actress!) Carrie Underwood wearing a vibrant red Single dress on her recent guest spot on the hit TV show "How I Met Your Mother."

Carrie is such a sweetheart and there's no denying how striking she looks in this dress. The fiery shade of red really suits her skin tone and blonde hair!

Spotted: Tania Gunadi wearing Single

I love it when the newest crop of the Young Hollywood set wear Single dresses on the red carpet, and I think that Disney starlet Tania Gunadi looked adorable in her strapless Single dress.

Tania stepped out in Single for the Hollywood premiere of the film How To Train Your Dragon, held at The Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California on March 21st, 2010. The color is perfection against her olive skin tone, and I love the youthful exuberance that she possesses. 

Way to go, girl! Single looks fantastic on you :)
